Visit Commagene

Visit Commagene is a significant initiative co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. Led by the Governorship of Adıyaman under the Competitive Sectors Program, this project aims to boost the region's social and economic development by enhancing its tourism sector. Adıyaman, home to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Nemrut and the ancient kingdom of Commagene, offers a rich tapestry of historical, cultural, and natural attractions. The project focuses on developing and promoting these assets, including local cuisine, trekking paths, camping sites, and eco-tourism opportunities, to establish Adıyaman as a premier destination in both national and international markets.
Summary
Our team contributed to the "Revitalisation of the Tourism Sector in Adıyaman" project, a collaborative effort co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. We also provided comprehensive design implementations, including the striking design, production, and application of vehicle wrapping for a commercial vehicle. This project aimed to elevate Adıyaman's profile as a destination brand, showcasing its rich historical, cultural, and natural offerings to national and international markets.
Challenges
We created visually compelling designs that effectively communicated the diverse tourism offerings of Adıyaman, from ancient historical sites to eco-tourism opportunities. The challenge lay in developing a cohesive visual language that could represent the region's multifaceted appeal while adhering to the guidelines of both EU-funded projects and local Turkish authorities. Additionally, we needed to ensure that our designs, particularly the vehicle wrap, would be both eye-catching and durable in various environmental conditions.
Solutions
We began by developing a comprehensive design strategy that encompassed various promotional materials and culminated in the standout vehicle wrap design. Our approach integrated elements representing Adıyaman's key attractions, including the iconic Mount Nemrut, local cuisine, trekking paths, and camping sites. We created a visual system that was flexible enough to be applied across different mediums while maintaining a consistent brand identity for Visit Commagene. For the commercial vehicle wrap, we utilized high-quality, weather-resistant materials to ensure longevity and visual impact. The design incorporated panoramic imagery and bold typography, effectively turning the vehicle into a mobile billboard for Adıyaman's tourism offerings.
Our team managed the entire process from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in the production and application of the wrap. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with local experts and project stakeholders to ensure our designs accurately represented the region's tourism values and aligned with the broader goals of economic development and destination branding.
